Matching gifts are offered by many companies to encourage their employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Ask your employer if matching gifts are possible.

An in-kind donation can include prizes for raffles, auction items, decorations and other helpful items. If you would like to donate an item to MDNA, just give us a call!

If you are 70½ years old or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) directly to MDNA. QCDs can satisfy your required minimum distribution, and because the distribution is not included in your taxable income, it can result in tax savings, regardless of whether you itemize deductions on your tax return. Whether it is a bequest in your will, a Charitable Remainder Trust, a Charitable Lead Trust, or more immediate contributions of stocks, bonds, art, or real property, your donation supports the health and well-being of all the residents of Mount Desert, and such bequests are simple to do. Some suggested language is offered below, and you may want to share this with your advisor or planner.
Add only one of the following sentences to your will, or as a codicil to your will.
